18 HOCKEY SUPER LEAGUE ATHLETES SELECTED IN 2022 WESTERN HOCKEY LEAGUE DRAFT

The Western Hockey League (WHL) held their annual Prospects Draft yesterday, featuring the 2007 birth year class, who patiently awaited for their names to be called. The annual event is an opportunity for WHL clubs to restock their cupboards with prospects who they hope will make an impact in the WHL in the next few years.

It was a banner day for the Hockey Super League and its member franchises as there was a total of 18 HSL athletes who had their names called by the various franchises across the WHL. In total, there were six (6) current athletes who were selected directly from the Hockey Super League as well as another 12 athletes who have played in the HSL in the past two seasons.

The Hockey Super League is heading into its sixth season in operation and continues to strive towards providing our athletes with the best development programing possible. The League and its member franchises are looking forward to dropping the puck in the fall.
