Spruce Grove, AB – The Junior Prospects Hockey League (JPHL) is proud to announce the addition of the Wolves Hockey Club (Wolves HC) as the newest member of the league, set to join for the 2025-26 season. Based out of Spruce Grove and the surrounding area, the Wolves HC will bring high-performance, academy-style hockey development to one of Alberta’s most passionate hockey communities.

While the Wolves HC name is new to the JPHL, the leadership team behind the club brings a deep well of experience both on and off the ice. With a proven track record in elite player development, coaching, and hockey operations, the organization is positioned to make an immediate impact in fostering talent and contributing to the league’s mission of preparing young athletes for the next level.

Wolves HC has partnered with the Parkland Student Athlete Academy will offer a comprehensive development model focused on skill enhancement, education, and leadership—ensuring athletes are well-rounded both on the ice and in the classroom. with Operating out of Spruce Grove and neighboring communities, the program will give local and regional players access to elite training and competitive play without leaving home.

The Wolves HC are poised to enter the JPHL season with a 17U AAA team and grow in the seasons beyond. The addition of Wolves HC underscores the JPHL’s commitment to expanding opportunities for high-performance athletes across Western Canada and beyond. As the league continues to grow, the focus remains on building programs that emphasize development, competition, and long-term athlete success.
